Hoppers Crossing.
Calling All Hoppers/Werribee Nodes!
I've just looked on the Node Map, and noticed that there are quite a few nodes within reach. If you're interested in connection, email
wireless@mountainvisions.com.au.It's relatively flat all around here, and I seem to be surrounded by double-storey houses. Since I'm also living in one, that doesn't bother me too much.
My plan is to mount an antenna on the roof (anyone got a loooooong ladder?) at the highest point. Initially, this will probably be an ex-Galaxy Antenna
I'll be using a Lucent OrinocoSilver card in an old Linux box as my Access Point, will probably sit it in the roof as close to the Antenna as possible.
