Spelling: URI
UNIFORM RESOURCE IDENTIFIER
URIs are defined as sequences of characters chosen from a limited
subset of the repertoire of ASCII characters both for transmission in
network protocols and representation in spoken and written human
communication.
Defined in RFC 2396.
