24dbi Galaxy [5] Antenna / 29dbi Satellite Antenna
12dbi Collinear [6]
I will use the 24dbi + Senao to obtain a link to someone like Node
FOB [7] who already has a link to GHO [8], unless I can get a stable
link directly to GHO [9] but I doubt it! I will then attach the 14dbi
Slotted Waveguide to the Linksys and offer access to anyone over here
in the southern region that can connect.
The Antennas will be mounted on a fascia mounted mast which is going
to be attached on the second storey of the house. Hopefully this will
be high enough.
Thanks to Peter from GUR [10] I am being taught the best way to
approach this, and found via nodedb that I could even have a
connection to ILE [11] but trees could be an issue!
SERVICES
I plan to offer DHCP, and OSPF. In addition there will be a SOLDIER
OF FORTUNE server and a WEBCAM mounted at the top of the mast viewable
by everyone.
PLANS
Need to get the equipment, looking for a GALAXY DISH or an old
SATELLITE DISH....
PROBLEMS
I don't have any CASH !
