NODE INFORMATION
The ABC node ID has been resurrected for use at a new prominent
location in Olinda. This site gives access straddling the Mt.
Dandenong ranges for more direct linkage into the Yarra Valley
including locations such as Woori Yallock, Seville, Launching Place
etc.
EQUIPMENT: Mikrotik Routerboard RB433AH with 3 Ubiquiti SR5's mounted
inside a Deliberant 24 dB Panel / Enclosure combo. The other 2
antennas are 27 dB grids.
POE Simple POE runs the device through 60-odd meters of gel-filled
outdoor cat5 cable. The voltage at the injector is 24.0 volts with
22.0 being measured by the Routerboard. Disabling one of the wireless
cards reduces the voltage drop by 0.4 volts.
STATUS: The node is on air linked to nodes ILW and KHK.

SUBURB: Lilydale (absent now in Sydney and looks like we will be here
for a while longer!)
COORDINATES: up Bastow Road - Facing Mt Dandenong
ACCURACY: Well its not quite on the top of the hill
STATUS: GalaxyAntenna [1], FHSS [2] & DSSS cards
Presently located in Riverstone, Western Sydney. Doesn't look like I
will be back in Melbourne for a while. Have the Sydney network
installed and working. It had to happen. We have sold our Lilydale
house so ABC is no more :-(
OPERATING SYSTEM: Windows 2000.

disconnected (due to extended stay in Sydney.
