MCXConnector

MCX-Connectors are 50 Ohm coaxial cable connectors designed for frequencies up to 6 GHz.

"MCX" stands for "Micro-CoaX". The MCX-Connector was designed in the 1980's, and is very similar to SMB-Connectors, although about 30% smaller, and lighter. The MCX-Connector has snap-on mating, although was not originally designed for movement during use.

The MCX-Connector has a smaller brother, known as the MMCX-Connector.
