Another name for each nodes Home Page [1].
On registering your interest, by creating a Node [2] on the LocFinder
[3] maps page, a wiki page is automatically created for your new node.
This page is linked from your maps page under WHERE TO FIND MORE INFO
. You can put a link to an external site on the maps page, but a link
to your wiki entry will always be included there; so it's well worth
putting a description of your node and your intentions on YOUR
WikiHomePage [4] as well.
The template [5] gives a good starting point, just edit it to suit
and revisit the page when you have ANY updates to announce - "often"
is good a time interval.
This helps others that may be querying the database to know what's
going on with your node, and a regularly updated page shows that your
interest is still alive and a casual e-mail may yield results.
Updating your WikiHomePage [6] won't guarantee your first link but no
entry and a node that hasn't been updated in a dog\'s age [7] isn't
going to encourage a tentative newcomer.
