Spelling: Shell

Referring to a Shell [1] when using computers generally means that the
user is talking about accessing the computers operating system, via
its interpreter.

Consider a shell to be a _container_ that provides the _ tools_ to
_control_ the _Operating System_ .

A Shell [2] may be:

* run in a local console (terminal) or a remote console (terminal).
* interactive (user input) or non-interactive (controlled by another
program).
