NODE LOG
27/09/10 - Installed new mast on apex of roof. Link quality to KHI
has improved drastically. Current signal strength at -71db, with an
airmax signal quality of 45% and TCP throughput of about 5 megabytes
per second.
Ordered a Ubiquity Picostation (1Watt Version) and hope to have that
installed in two or three weeks.
29/05/10 - Installed Node (Ubiquiti Nanobridge M5) and secured link
to KHI.
Current signal strength at -87db, with an AirMax [5] signal quality
of 38%.
Confirmed current maximum throughput of the link of ~500kilobytes per
second.
Will put another mast on the apex of the roof, which should raise the
current height of ~5 metres to approx 8 metres. Once this is done, ill
put an omni on top and allow others to connect.
