14/01/08: Still trying to get solid info on how to setup a WAP to
connect to a node. Serious information gaps in the FAQ.

Intending to link to ILC (if the guy is still around, node might be
just abandoned and still running) or GUR (may be too far away, but at
least someones responding to emails)
If Melbourne Wireless is still running (and looking at this site, i'm
not convinced) I'll buy an antenna.
PROBLEMS
Basically no information on how to link to another Access Point,
using DD-WRT. There doesn't appear to be a DHCP client.
