Currently assessing the posibility of connecting to NodeGHO [3].
NODE LOG
23/12/07 - The AP I already have will need to be modified but I don't
like the odd's of that so I expect i'll need a new one which isn't a
big issue.
23/12/07 - Examined the current placing of the old antenna and had a
quick look for line of site, Looks promising. Also had a quick look at
the mod's I can do to get this working and they don't seem to bad.

I will be running a PC with a linux distro on it (probably gentoo if
the packages are there which I suspect).

PLANS
I plan to access the current situation for a possible link to NodeGHO
[4].
I plan to connect to more local points if connecting to NodeGHO [5]
fails (maybe NodeIMX [6] if he can get a good connection to NodeGHO
[7] going and doesn't mind).
Maybe even look over the bay for a point to connect to (have a pritty
good line of view if I raise the dish a little higher).
Maybe long term i'll see about setting up a AP for people in my area
to connect to so mordialloc can join the melbourne wireless party.
PROBLEMS
Lack of knowledge in setting up long range wireless systems, but
thats what reading and a wiki is for.
Time might become a issue (hopefully not).
