Cross link between Newcomb and Whittington & NODE JEE.
Connection to JOH(AP/WDS 10.0.0.30-seperate internal network) is via
an ASUS WL-500G USING DD-WRT RC6.1 MINI + 24dBi parabolic.
Connection to JEE(10.10.65.1) is via a (JPJ/2
AP/WDS)-10.10.65.3)WAP54g v2 Running DD-WRT RC6.1(special build since
rc6.1 +6.2 have broken `repeater' modes) into a 1/2Watt amp&pre-amp @
1Mbit into a 24dBi parabolic, this is running in `repeater-bridge'
mode allowing locals to wifi into melbournewireless! via the
`repeated' signal from JEE. From there is fed into an asus wl-500gP's
WAN port that sits in my shed.
The wl-500gP is acting as a web server and router for the network,
the lan ports have feeds from my main machines+VOIP! + also accept my
link to JOH which hosts my ADSL-internet link. The wl-500gP can allow
internet acces via the JPJ link if required with a simple port
forwarding, and has been tested!.
Without changes to my network i can browse the net and melb wireless
links without changes to my internal network 10.0.0.x/255.255.255.0 I
did this with a added route to the ADSL router located at JOH, and
said 10.10.0.0/255.255.0.0 to be redirected to my wl-500gP router in
my shed to route into the melb wireless network. Easy !
