Going to try to build a repeater here to link to BHH and HVC. No local
AP functionality (for now).
LOS looks good to HVC, can see the buiding it is no from the front
yard.
Need to see how big a mast we need for the other way. There is a 3
story apartment block on the west bondary, be nice to be able to put
the antenna on top of that...
Two AP's each with a grid/Satelite dish antenna.
Thinking about using a smaller antenna for the link to HVC, perhaps a
biquad and Minitar in the same box, small and unobtrusive.
Firmware munged to allow ip forwarding between the two. Testing the
standard firmware with a Minitar in client mode showed a single PC
connected worked Ok when accessing what was at the other end of the
link but when I put a network behind it nothing seemed to work. I know
the kernel in the standard fw does not support IP forwarding, but it
does set up a bridge. From comments on the Minitar forum this is
supposed to work with a single PC only.
