Spelling: NodeHPL

NodeHPL [1], Building testing stage.

HPL is up and running with an default antenna, inside mind you at
this stage, you can use it to find me if your driving past but thats
about it. SSID is hpl.melbourne.wireless.org.au

Soon, I will be constructing a mast with 2 AP's in a box. The first
AP will have an 8db Omni connected offering DHCP for those interested
in connecting. The second AP will be connected to a 24db grid
parabolic antenna, which will hopefully be able to link permanently to
a local node, (maybe IPK or HFC or other).

I have plans to add a 3rd AP into the box on the mast, anyone
interested in having this AP with 24db grid parabolic antenna pointed
at your node, I am willing to give it a go, trial and error basis. My
initial idea for this grid antenna is to run a long coaxial lead down
to the base of the mast to plug into my netstumbler/kismet to assist
in gathering information of my local area.

Please email myself using the email contact facility if you have any
enquiries, or you can visit my web site,

http://www.mydotnet.net/

Even though the web content has nothing to do with Melbourne Wireless
at this time, but I'll make a link to MW soon, I promise !
