WikiHomePage

Another name for each nodes Home Page.

On registering your interest, by creating a Node on the LocFinder maps page, a wiki page is automatically created for your new node.
This page is linked from your maps page under Where to find more info . You can put a link to an external site on the maps page, but a link to your wiki entry will always be included there; so it's well worth putting a description of your node and your intentions on your WikiHomePage as well.

The template gives a good starting point, just edit it to suit and revisit the page when you have any updates to announce - "often" is good a time interval.
This helps others that may be querying the database to know what's going on with your node, and a regularly updated page shows that your interest is still alive and a casual e-mail may yield results.

Updating your WikiHomePage won't guarantee your first link but no entry and a node that hasn't been updated in a External linkdog's age isn't going to encourage a tentative newcomer.
