7/3/09 - Did site survey and established LOS to GXT and ICQ - yah !
14/3/09 - Node build planning underway. Have procured Wind Turbine / batteries for power

This node will be a Green node running off wind power

Wind Turbine & Associated Batteries / Power Management.
2.4Ghz Wave guide for Southern coverage
5.8Ghz Uplink for MW network connection.
We have procured a 200W Jaycar wind turbine and some
decommissioned batteries to suit at this stage.
Services
This node will provide an Uplink point and coverage
for the Narewarren / Berrick / Hampton Park etc region.
Plans
It's also planned to provide an up link to Aurthurs Seat in the near future.

Problems
Still Sourcing equipment such as

Decent pole for turbine - maybe ex 6mtr power pole ???
Some 3 Wire cable to connect to turbine (6 ish Mtr)
Cat 5 & conduit to run up pole to bullet ap's
Standoff vertical poles 35mm ish to give mounting point for antennas.

Monitoring / routing access point - will use wl500gP with weather station
& picaxe connection for battery monitoring
