+A [PALConnector PAL Connector] (also known as a "Belling-Lee" connector, after the company (http://www.blpcomp.com/ Belling Lee) who invented them) is a connector for 75 Ohm [CoaxialCable coaxial cable].
+[PALConnector PAL Connectors] are designed to be extremely cheap to produce, and as such provide horrible performance. These connectors were designed to only be used on domestic equipment, and as such you will see them as antenna input/output sockets on your television sets and VCR's. Most houses with an antenna mounted on their roof ([MATV]) will have one of these on a wall-socket somewhere, too, although the [FConnector F-Connector] is starting to take over in more professional installations.
+While the [PALConnector PAL Connector] is a very poor quality connector, its loss of signal is quite negligable due to the fact that television signals are usually very powerful, especially with a directional [YagiAntenna yagi-style] TV antenna mounted on your roof.
+[PALConnector PAL Connectors] prove to be very pathetic at frequencies above 600 MHz, and are most certainly not suitable for [WLAN Wireless LAN] use. Instead, you should use an [NConnector N-Connector].
