+At present the only wireless.org.au community nodes I have heard is Node GHO at Mt. Dandenong a distance of ~62 Km.  An estimate of the link performance is calculated below in the table as is the display of the D Link card for the GHO node.  Ping times as indicated with speed set to “auto”.

+Increase antenna gain and height but not exceeding EIRP limit. 

+Conduct tests with manually selected different link speed settings, to determine optimum settings;
