8 July 2010 - Updated this page, hoping for some nearby activity. Aim
to talk to a few of the other nodes in the area soon. Tossing up ideas
about hardware: have lots of old leftover stuff to hack together, but
wondering whether it's worth the time required to make them work!
EQUIPMENT
Options...
Linksys WRT160N with DD-wrt, a WRT54GL currently with Tomato and an
old BEFW11S4 & WAP11 to play with.
I run Mac OSX on home computers, Ubuntu for MythTV [3]/NAS/etc.
SERVICES
No services so far. Considering... things.
PLANS
Attend info night. Scope out potential links. Get disappointed. Run
some of the old hardware through some omnis as an 'advert' for
MelbWireless [4]
PROBLEMS
Not many, just need connections. Not very high off the ground.
