EQUIPMENT
I own a small, but every growing collection of wireless routers that
I have begged/scavenged/bought over the last couple of years. This
includes an Asus WL-HDD [4], an Asus WL-500G [5], a Linksys WAP54G [6]
(v3) and a Linksys WRT54G [7] (v2). My main issue has been a lack of
external antenna with a decent enough gain to connect to the rest of
Melbourne Wireless.
Backend mostly be a mix of Linux based distributions (Ubuntu, OpenWRT
[8]).
SERVICES
None (yet!)
PLANS
The current plan is to purchase a suitable antenna and link up with
NodeGHO [9] and get routing working correctly.
* I'd be interested in establishing IPv6 [10] connectivity across the
network.
* There is also a digital TV card that (if I can get it working) may
be used to produce some interesting services.
* Access to a FreeSwitch [11] VoIP [12] server?
* Squid Cache Peer?
