Line of Sight:
* North - Solid Concrete wall behind house (Factories - may be good
place to mount antenna though!)
* West - Ridge at Bayswater and possibly also Heathmont, maybe even
as far as Vermont (not sure about that)
* South - Unsure. Quite a distance, possibly parts of
Kilsyth/Boronia/The Basin
* East - The Dandenongs in all their glory. I look straight up at
them and live pretty much at the base of them.
Current Hardware:
* 2 Orinocco Silvers
Future Hardware/Software:
* ex-galaxy [1] antenna
* small omni/panel for inside house/property
* P166 with Linux acting as firewall
* PCI cradle
* something like RG-1000 (need something reliable) as my wife
doesn't like losing her connection to the internet from her Mac when I
stuff around with the network/servers etc. Plus Linux machine
currently acting as gateway to share internet connection.
