Voice Over Internet Protocol

Technology to enable the transmission of speech over TCP/IP based networks. VoIP uses audio compression to enable speech to be transmitted in realtime over networks such as the Internet.

Testing Clients

At the September MelbWireless meeting, over a dozen Melb Wireless People installed SpeakFreely onto their laptops and participated in a huge wireless conference call. Were these laptops TheWorldsMostExpensiveWalkieTalkies? :-)
