TNCConnector
A TNC-Connector is a coaxial cable connector designed for radio frequencies up to 11 GHz. Although primarily designed for 75 Ohm cable, 50 Ohm versions of the TNC are also very common.
"TNC" stands for "Threaded Neill-Concelman", and it named after an engineer called Carl Concelman who designed TNC-Connectors in the late 1950's as a threaded version of the BNC-Connector. TNCs are designed to be weather-proof.
Most Wireless LAN gear which has TNC-style connectors actually use a non-standard form called Reverse-Polarity TNC.
