Hub
See also: Switch, Router
An Ethernet device used to connect multiple Clients, Servers and other network resources together on the same network.
Unlike a Switch, a Hub is a dumb device. It simply broadcasts traffic received on one port to all other ports. All devices connected to a Hub receive all the network traffic sent from every other device on the Hub - whether they need to receive it or not.
