BiQuad's are a qreat "1st start" antenna when you decide you need some more range.This link will take you to Silicon Chip's PCB artwork.

You can easily make a PCB (with all dimentions correct) using this artwork and a laser printer.

PCB FabricationWhere he says "special toner transfer paper" use plain paper or even better, over head projector film.
