12th of March Annual general meeting

March will be our AGM for Melbourne Wireless.

The time has come to see how you can help shape Melbourne Wireless's future.

All positions are open for nomination:

President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and 4 ordinary Memebr positions.

To cast your vote as a paid up member for the coming committee election you MUST send you nominations to secretary at melbournewireless.org.au before the 5-3-10.

Nominations must be seconded by a paid up member.

12th Febuary general meeting

Febuary will be the General Meeting for Melbourne Wireless.


Everyone is welcome to attend the Febuary General Meeting, to be held on Friday the 12th of Febuary at the Hawthorn Scout Hall.

Entry is now FREE!

The meeting starts at 7:30pm and runs through until 9:30pm. 

There is a strong social element to Melbourne Wireless meetings, including a BBQ with $2 snags and soft drink available.

Wireless hardware will be on sale.

Everyone is welcome to attend and bring friends, we'll see you there!


December Christmas General Meeting

This month Mike Everest of Duxtel will be bringing a pair of RB600 routers for an aggregated link bandwidth shootout!

This should be very interesting as the units can in therory handle upto 10 wireless cards.

It will be our Christmas meeting, with updates on whats going on around the network.
