I've got a wireless LAN working at home, but longer range wireless sounds way cooler. :D It's not open to public yet (access is restricted by MAC address) until I have the firewall up and ready. Network equipment on hand: * [Buffalo] [AirStation WLAR-L11G-L] access point * [Buffalo] [WLI-PCM-L11G] PCMCIA cards x2 * no antennae yet Currently the !AirStation is connected to a Pentium 90 home server/firewall running [Debian] [GNU]/[Linux] woody. One of the clients with the PCMCIA card is a Fujitsu Lifebook S-5582, running Debian experimental. (experimental is even more bleeding edge than sid)
