AirPlus is [D-Link D-Link's] name for its "enhanced" 802.11b networking products, currently the [DWL-520plus DWL-520+] PCI network adapter, the [DWL-650plus DWL-650+] PC Card network adapter and the [DWL-900APplus DWL-900AP+] Access Point. It supports a 22 Mbit mode in addition to the standard modes.

It should be backwards compatible with standard 802.11b equipment at 11mb/s. It
potentially may support 22 Mbit to other vendor equipment using the same Texas Instruments chipset.

WECA has stated that it will not give the WiFi seal to these products. (Update: They seem to have changed their mind, the following AirPlus products are shown as being (http://www.wi-fi.org/ WiFi certified))
