Introduction



NodeHKF is my node on the Melbourne Wireless community network.

It is running Fedora Core 2 on a P2-266MHz, 256MB Ram. The machine has OSPF (Quagga) running on it.





Antenna



My node has a 15dB 180deg waveguide connected to a linksys wrt54g and one Hills 24dB directional using a D-link DWL-900AP+





Mast



A 15 meter mast is mounted on side of my house, firmly guyed by 4 separate steel guy wires that attach to long eye-bolts screwed into the roof trusses.
