I have successfully built a [Cantenna] according to (http://www.terdmonk.com/cantenna/ this design) and have made a [CoaxCollinear] using [RyanM Ryan's] (http://wlan.eridu.net/projects/gumph-smarm-omni.html modifications) to the (http://wireless.gumph.org/articles/homemadeomni.html gumph design).

I own an [EnterasysCards Enterasys Card] with pigtail and ricoh riser and am looking at hacking a (http://www.bdzone.net/~gummay/Toshiba_Chip.jpg laptop's) (http://www.bdzone.net/~gummay/Toshiba_wifi0.jpg internals) to attach external antenna.
