I'm in between jobs at the moment so am having a bit of fun building a wireless node as it combines my work ( I.T. ) and one of my hobbies being radio communications.  I used to work at one of the big 4 worldwide Financial advisors as a National Network Administrator / Server Engineer on Windoze and Solaris systems...

I've done a bit of schooling on Solaris Firewalls, Windows as well as Cisco PIX firewalls and the last course I attended was Exchange 2003.

Out here in the sticks there is plenty of room to play with long range links, ( the old Telstra test range is approx 5 Km away ) the only problem is there aren't too many people to hook up with.

If your interested in setting up a link to me give me a yell, I'm currently setting up a 11 Km link to a friend to share some files...
