A (http://melbourne.wireless.vic.asn.au/~tyson/files/nodes/ajj/DCP_0473.jpg 3 metre tall mast) is (http://melbourne.wireless.vic.asn.au/~tyson/files/nodes/ajj/DCP_0466.jpg mounted on the ridge cap) of my house, firmly guyed by 3 separate (http://melbourne.wireless.vic.asn.au/~tyson/files/nodes/ajj/DCP_0468.jpg steel guy wires) that attach to long eye-bolts screwed into the roof trusses.  The mast and antennae are designed to survive strong gusts of wind.
