Lucent
Lucent is a former division of AT&T. One of the things they took with them was the WaveLAN technology, which evolved from a proprietary protocol, through 802.11 and ultimately to 802.11b.The wireless division was spun off to form a new company, Orinoco, and now sell a range of cards (including the OrinocoSilver), AccessPoints and various accessories.
